Helen Turner - Certified Holistic Health Coach (CHHC), B.Sc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP, RPT, CKTP, CAUK.
Helen has been involved in the health and fitness industry since starting her working career as a lifeguard at her local swimming pool. This was followed by becoming a certified ASA swimming teacher at 18 years. Due to her keen interest in the human body and function she then completed her Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University.
The next nine years were spent working as a physiotherapist in both the UK and Bermuda. Helen has experience in a wide range of areas including orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, mental health, rehabilitation, learning disabilities, drug and alcohol rehab, amputees, neurological conditions, sports physiotherapy, chronic pain and geriatrics. It was in Bermuda that she realised that helping people physically was sometimes not enough to help improve quality of life. Because of this she was inspired to become a Certified Holistic Health Coach. She is also a Certified Kinesio Taping practitioner (CKPT), Pilates Instructor and is Certified in Acupuncture and Facial Acupuncture (Cosmetic Acupuncture).
She is always looking for new ways to encourage people to become more educated about their own health and wellness in order to live healthier and happier lives. Currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands for Acupuncture and Pilates services and online Health Coaching for clients all over the world! Helen is currently coaching clients from places such as Miami, Dubai, London, Amsterdam, Toronto and New York.
Her area of expertise is working with both clients with chronic diseases such as Diabetes or Heart Disease and the complications of having multiple medical conditions. She works to gradually build a healthier life by making small sustainable changes to her clients everyday lifestyle, which in the long-run become easy to continue. She also encourages her clients to reduce the toxic load on their body by suggesting different household and beauty products to use and why it is important to know what you are putting in and on your body.
